About The Role

Do you enjoy talking to people and want to be part of a team?  Are you organised and do you enjoy administrative tasks? If so, becoming a Time for Dementia volunteer might be just the role for you!

The Time for Dementia programme is delivered by Alzheimer's Society in collaboration with Brighton and Sussex Medical School and is designed to improve the knowledge, attitudes and empathy of future healthcare professionals. It is an innovative and unique educational programme that provides undergraduate healthcare professionals with on-going, regular contact with a person with dementia and their carer, outside of a clinical setting.

You’ll support people taking part in the Time for Dementia programme by talking to the participants, usually by phone, to find out how the project is going for them. You will gather and record information and help with general administrative tasks connected with the project.
