About The Role

Interview: w/c 11th November
Contract: This is a fixed term contract opportunity for 12 months, covering maternity leave.

We’re looking for a Marketing Campaign Manager to join our busy and thriving Events Marketing team. This role will manage high-profile, high-value, multi-channel marketing campaigns, aimed at maximising the recruitment of supporters and income.
 
You’ll report to the Senior Marketing Manager, and manage one line report. The Events Marketing team is in the Events team, and sits in the wider Income and Engagement directorate. The Events Marketing team is responsible for recruiting event participants across a range of sports, challenge, and mass events, as well as involvement in retention strategies to cross-sell our supporters into other fundraising products.
 
You will:
  • Work with our Media Agency to plan, deliver and optimise activity across media channels such as, but not limited to, TV, Radio, Door Drops, Direct Mail, OOH, Meta and PPC.
  • Brief our internal creative teams or agencies to produce outstanding creative for our channel mix.
  • Work with others across the teams, to plan yearly and campaign marketing budgets.
  • You will develop your line reports, supporting them with their marketing campaigns.
This is a homeworking role, with flexibility to be hybrid if that is your preference. You may be required to travel to attend meetings, events and team-days, so you must reside in the UK, have the correct right to work documents to work in the UK and be comfortable/willing to travel to our offices (London or Birmingham) if/when required.

About you
  • You will be an experienced marketeer.
  • You’ll need to be enthusiastic, creative, and highly-organised with the ability to manage multiple complex marketing campaigns and at times, conflicting priorities.
  • You will be used to working collaboratively and be able to prioritise your workload effectively and remain solution-focussed. You will be experienced in developing outstanding multi-channel marketing plans utilising data and insight to inform your decisions.
  • You will be a fantastic communicator, with great attention to detail. We are looking for someone who is driven and passionate and will work to maximise our income to increase the impact we have on the lives of people affected by dementia.
  • Be an experienced marketing professional.
  • Able to think big, but who also can deliver on the detail.
  • A compassionate line manager, focussed on supporting your team. you'll lead your team to be passionate about helping people affected by the devastation of dementia.
Person Specification
  • Verbal and written communication skills to liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively and be able to prioritise your workload effectively.
  • Excellent organisational skills and great attention to detail.
  • Advocate for Alzheimer’s Society, demonstrating passion and resilience to make a difference.
  • Be a self-starter and incredibly motivated.
