If you love meeting new people and want to support people affected by dementia in your area, then we may have just the volunteer role for you!
We are looking for volunteers to support our Group Facilitators in delivering Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (CST) sessions.
We will be running the sessions in two locations in Wiltshire, so you will need to be able to support at one of the following:
Warminster, Wiltshire
Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire
Our CST sessions are delivered by Alzheimer’s Society and are designed to be relaxed, sociable and enjoyable. These evidence-based therapy sessions support people living with early to moderate dementia to build confidence, express their views, keep their minds active and connect with others in a friendly group setting.
Each CST programme runs for 14 sessions, and we plan to run several programmes throughout the year.
We are looking to begin the first sessions in January/February 2027.
