About the opportunity
We’re looking for an Impact Analyst to join our Evaluation & Impact team within the Effective Organisation directorate. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in helping Alzheimer’s Society understand, measure, and communicate the difference we make for people affected by dementia.
At Alzheimer’s Society, we are advisors, supporters, fundraisers, researchers, influencers, communicators, technical specialists, and so much more. Together, we are united by one goal: to end the devastation caused by dementia and provide support to those who need it most.
As an Impact Analyst, you'll help shape how we measure impact across the organisation. Working closely with colleagues across Services & Support, Data, Quality & Insight, Income & Engagement, and other teams, you'll design and embed meaningful impact measurement frameworks that support learning, improvement, and evidence-based decision-making.
This is a highly collaborative and influential role where you'll combine analytical expertise, impact measurement knowledge, and stakeholder engagement skills to ensure we can clearly demonstrate the outcomes and value of our work.
We’re looking for someone who lives our values: determined to make a difference, a trusted expert, committed to working better together, and showing genuine compassion.

You thrive in collaborative environments and are motivated by the opportunity to contribute to work that makes a real difference to people affected by dementia.
You'll have:
- Experience designing and implementing impact measurement, monitoring, or evaluation frameworks.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience gathering, interpreting, and presenting complex quantitative and qualitative data.
- Knowledge of outcomes measurement approaches, including Logic Models and Theories of Change.
- Experience developing dashboards, data visualisations, and reports that communicate insights effectively.
- Ability to translate data and evidence into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
- Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and engaging a range of stakeholders.
- Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Understanding of the charity, public, health, or social impact sectors and how impact evidence informs decision-making.
- A commitment to continuous improvement, learning, and evidence-based practice.
What you'll focus on
- Leading the design and development of impact measurement frameworks aligned to organisational Theories of Change.
- Developing practical tools and approaches that enable teams to measure outcomes and impact consistently.
- Supporting the implementation and embedding of impact measurement practices across the organisation.
- Gathering, analysing, and interpreting impact data to generate meaningful insight and evidence.
- Using external data sources to contextualise organisational performance and outcomes.
- Designing dashboards, reports, and visualisations that clearly communicate impact and learning.
- Supporting colleagues to build confidence and capability in impact measurement and evidence use.
- Acting as a subject matter expert on monitoring, analytics, and impact measurement approaches.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across Data, Quality & Insight, Services, and Income & Engagement teams.
- Influencing stakeholders to strengthen the organisation’s understanding and use of impact evidence.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of impact measurement, learning, and evaluation practices across Alzheimer’s Society.
