What skills will we need in the future? And how can we plan now to make sure we have the people and skills we need?
As our Future Talent & Planning Specialist, you’ll help us answer those questions.
You’ll join our Talent & Development team and work across the Society to understand our future workforce needs and turn that insight into practical plans. You’ll look at where we are today, where we need to be in the future and what we need to do to get there.
You’ll use workforce planning, labour market insight and future skills trends to understand where our workforce is today, where we need it to be in the future and what skills and capabilities we’ll need to get there. You’ll identify gaps and develop practical plans to address them, working with teams to build, develop or attract the talent we’ll need.
This could mean developing future talent pipelines, creating new career pathways, strengthening early careers opportunities or identifying ways to develop skills from within. You’ll help us think beyond immediate recruitment needs and plan for the workforce we’ll need in the years ahead.
You’ll also have the opportunity to build partnerships with education providers, employability organisations and community groups. Together, you’ll help create meaningful routes into work and make careers at Alzheimer’s Society more accessible.
Could you help us understand where our future workforce needs will come from, what skills we’ll need and how we can create opportunities for people to build those skills and careers with Alzheimer’s Society?
Interviews are provisionally scheduled to take place on the 23rd & 24th November via MS Teams.
